First of all with the perk Wave Enhance, it has made boosters with 10% boost less useful. Second it now takes 6 turns charge up convert. In certain senses, these changes are both blessing and curse to Convert + Boost combo. On the one hand, there are 2 more turns of cooldown of convert. On the other hand, it is now possible to have a mono color team that can convert an entire board into a single color. However with the increase in power, I have gone back to a duo color team since it is strong enough to deal with the threats at this point. This is waht the team looks like:
Unlike teams I have previously listed, this teams required a bit of skills to be effective, the boost relies on The Ninth Doctor +. which is 35 combos or 25 if the perk of Doctor's skill cooldown -30% is chosen, in theory averaging 4 or 5 combos each turn should have the boost ready around the same turn as the convert abilities are ready. However be mindful that the tier 2 ability will overwrite the tier 1 ability. Overall this combo will lead to 30 black gems with 35% boost each. The steps are:
It is possible to repalce The Ninth Doctor + with The Ninth Doctor which reduce the boost by 15% per gem but also improves the cooldown to 20 combo. K9 can also be replaced by any other character as its role in this team is just to boost damage.
I recommend using perks that boost black damage but weakness enhance for blue. Horizontal shape technical enhance is the only one that functions when the enire board is converted to 1 color. However the damage is probably enough that Horizontal shape technical enhance is not needed. however feel free to use it in certain levels such as the Expert Levels.
For those without access to Fan area, there is an alternative team available:
The steps are:
The altenative team has more HP but loses out slitghly on power and quite a significant amount of heal.
This conclude our look back at the first year in Doctor Who: Legacy. Congradualations to TinyRebelGames and we hope this game will continue for years to come.
