UNIT Commander is a black supporting companion. An Earth-bound human, the commander is most often associated with the military organization UNIT and is thus affiliated most closely with the UNIT Solder and UNIT Medic.
The UNIT Commander can be unlocked during normal play in the Season 6 level, ???, as part of the 4-character Blue-Black Starter Pack (20 time crystals), or as a random result of a Season 6 Character Roll (4 time crystals).
