As new enemies are added to the game, I thought it would be useful to have a consensus on what we will name them. This is also a thread to discuss new types of existing enemies.
There are additional Daleks that I would like an opinion on. First, in Into the Dalek, there is a right-facing Time War Dalek in addition to the normal left-facing orientation. Should we include both, as we do with left- and right-facing Weeping Angels?
Second, (L40) The boarding of the Aristotle debuts right- and left-facing Daleks that are very similar to the Time War Daleks, but with visible grills. Also, the left-facing one (but not the right-facing one) has plunger and gun in reverse orientation to the Time War Dalek. Should we include both, and what should we call them? My suggestion is Aristotle Dalek.
I would vote for including the left-facing one only, as it is more distinct from the corresponding Time War Dalek. When both orientations are included in a level we can note it, as I have done with Into the Dalek.
The new Titan comics Fan Area levels introduce a proper Cerebravore; I have titled this image Cerebravore Boss.jpg. The enemies that appeared in Tenth Doctor Titan Adventures (L30 team req.), which were the first manifestation of the cerebravores, I have renamed Whirlpool A and Whirlpool B (the filenames are still Cerebravore A.jpg and Cerebravore B.jpg).
I've started playing Bigger on the Inside prologue and so far there is one new enemy, a Coolant Leak that resembles the Acid Cloud associated with the Gangers. It is red and comes in at least 3 different shapes.
I am thinking of creating an Enemy page "Inanimate" that could include things like the Coolant Leak, Acid Cloud, Puddle (accompanying the Ice Governess in at least one level), and Rocks (summoned by the Master in at least one level and a Giant Snowman in another). Any thoughts?
The Vashta Nerada I've encountered so far have been in shadow form. I don't know whether it will be possible to mine these images, since they would be black on black. I didn't pay too much attention at first to which was the shadows are facing, but there are at least two different orientations.
They should be mineable, as they don't seem to be animated like it is the case with paradoxes. Also, game files are transparent so in case if they will be too unreadable on black we can always render them on a different background.
I don't have renaming ability, so if someone could rename Vashta_Nerada.png to Vashta_Nerada_Spacesuit_B.png, that would be great. Alternately, extract a jpg version to be consistent with the other files.
It would be helpful to have black background jpg files of the Clockwork Man and Clockwork Woman. We have transparent background png files, but the names are incorrect ("Clockword"). We need close-up images of these two as well.
It's fine.I'm the one who was in a hurry at the time and uploaded them in transparent backgrounds/with wrong names. I would also just replace them at the Clockwork Droid Pages, but had no idead of how to.
There are missles in (L50) Experimental Relative Dimension (14/5/2015). I haven't played through the entire level and don't know whether they're associated with an exisiting enemy or a new enemy. I would appreciate someone extracting the relevant image(s).
Guilherme, not to malign your photo editing skills, which are certainly better than mine, but the lower portion of the Crinis looks a little off to me. Do you still want a better screenshot to work with, from the Crinis in the final wave?
There used to be a way to extract the images directly from the game, I believe (someone called it datamining). I never learned how and those who knew didn't want to spread it around. Is there anyone active on the wiki who can do this?
Yeah, the lower portion was kind of hard because of the icons,so it would be nice if someone could do the datamining for it.The left part was especially hard because of the power icon, wich i had to reconstruct(that is most likely what you mean by the "a little off" bit, wich I totally understand)
In the The_Second_Doctors_Sonic_Screwdriver_(Level) we have 2 diferrent versions of the Macra: a brow-ish in waves 1/2/4 and a red-ish in wave 3/4(the one already on the Macra page). Can someone please extract the image?.
We could rename/reupload the "Red" one as The Macra B and call the "brown" one The Macra A
Also, when possible, there could be a new Juddon w/ Helmet image with better qualitty, because I've done the current one as a temporary
We have a new enemy in the Season 9 level The Magician's Apprentice: Colony Sarff. There are at least two related snake images as well. I have created the enemy page and would appreciate it if someone could datamine the images.
We still need the Fisher King datamined, and now Odin as well.
Once again, I would ask that those with the ability to datamine please watch this thread. If you are not able to keep up with the game due to limited time (I know this is the case with one or two of you), is there a way this secret can be passed on to one or two of us who are actively updating the wiki?
So,today TRG posted a preview for "The Woman Who Lived" level. There,we can see Leandro (closeup) and the portal that was opened by him/Lady Me.Should it have it's own page or simply add him on Leandro's page?
