The First Doctor is an incarnation of the Doctor. He was the first ally character in Doctor Who: Legacy to be introduced in the game's storyline before being introduced as a playable character. He plays a major part in the plot, explaining the Master's plan in the Season 6 epilogue levels. He will be able to be unlocked in normal play in Season 5.

As an incarnation of the Doctor, the First Doctor's attributes are determined by the Doctor's rank and the companions' levels in his team at any given time. He has the following range of attributes at each rank.
