  • Did you ever get to play the level with Missy as an earnable character? If so, could we have your. Obb file?

      • Update On Adding Back In Doctor Who Legacy Content* 4-5-2020:

Using a current .obb file did not work however, we have managed to update the game to it's final form. This update was not included in the Doctor Who Legacy 3.5.2 APK.

In order to do this you must have the following file:

      https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HR_vxAmfto0BUw4CMuJ3dWi5Cj3ztgAH/view?usp=drivesdk

Copy this file and paste it into:

      Internal Storage -> Android -> Data -> com.tinyrebel.doctorwholegacy

Confirm that you want to replace your existing file. (In testing this, our prior data was not lost).

You can verify it worked by looking in the challenge areas. The most recent challenge should show the reward of Missy as a playable character for beating the level.

      Now you are all set!

      • Note: The following characters are still missing outfits. Outfits being purely cosmetic will not effect gameplay:

Bessie John Jones Martha Jones Rose Tyler The TARDIS The Third Doctor Vastra

These were either unreleased or had been promotional material provided by now defunct codes. If someone has a way to reactivate these please contact this member through Discord: Stiff#0498

      Special Thanks to:

Stiff#0498 for your help with getting the final steps down both times

SnakeSosa for providing the necessary files to get this accomplished so Whovians could continue to experience Doctor Who Legacy

Stile99 for scratching your head along with the rest of us and putting forward your theories

Sharee for suggesting using the Doctor Who Discord to get help with finding the necessary files to make the games' levels complete once more

  • Qq to see if it is possible to install and play dw legacy. I played for a long time and miss it. Have a new phone now and would like to play.

      Loading editor
    • If it shows up under your purchase history you should be able to reinstall. The app has been removed from the app stores. The server is shut down so cloud saves will not load and purchasing is off so the premium content and fan area will not be available from a fresh install.

  • Just a heads up that I'll be on vacation Feb 15-20 and probably won't get a chance to update the daily missions. I don't know how often you play or log in to the wiki these days, but if you do have time to do the updates that would be great. I will at least log into the game and make note of them, in case I need to do a mass update when I get back.

    • Yeah, I am around, but only through my phone (I've tried uploading images to the wiki with it, but it didn't quite work), so I sent Felicityk the datamined image before leaving home, as a "back-up" measure. Thanks anyway

  • Because I think it doesn't belong into Thread:17371, but I still want to ask it: have you information (or can you point to a resource with information) what the difference between those two is, and when it is better to use wiki-table and when it is better to use article-table (or is one basically just inferior and should be avoided)?

      Loading editor
    • no, i do not have any specific information or links... i looked thru some of my notes, but do not see anything... and searching for such a general word as 'article table' or 'wiki table' is fruitless... iirc, article-table was something that wikia created awhile ago and it was designed to be 'perfect' for the wikia-system... however, as the wikia (and now fandom) system has changed its formats - the article-table has become inferior/outdated, but that is ONLY imho...

the only place i was even able to dig-up about article-tables was at: CSS styling ... once upon a time, i was trying to learn stuff and went over to the final-fantasy wikia... i noticed that they were VERY particular about their system - because of all the code that was changing underneath them (from wikia)... thus, if you try reading their page Table-help you will see that they completely overwrote everything about tables... in the end, several of the ff people went over to wikia as employees, iirc...

i have also been having to work-around the wikia-system for some minor things over at my stwog-wikia... so basically, my only real reference is personal experience... in this case - i just THINK that there is some subtle issue with the article-table class that wikia created and so i avoid it...

sorry i cannot be more definitive...  :-)

    • Nevertheless, thanks for the input :-)

I guess I try switch over to wiki-table then (at least to be consistent). I kinda would like a solid best-practice/how-things-work place/site, but with all the different wikia-versions (and Wikipedia itself is iirc something slightly different, too), it probably is hard to find something really useful. :-/

  • Hey, you're the only other dataminer other than me currently editing (Alpha took, mostly, a break from the wiki this year). I want to ask if you are familiar with the stories associated with the content (please don't name them here, due to the spoiler policy. Just a "yes" or "no" will be enough). (Just asking because there is a lot of stuff there that either werent named properly in the episode, like the allies costumes, or were mentioned briefly, like some enemies and backgrounds).

I'm asking this because I have already saved on my computer all released images from this pack, with the names that seemed the most acurate (both with the Wiki's general enemy names and the stories they come from).

Usually, when you add the images I'm like, 10-15 minutes from start adding them myself. Would it be OK if I added them myself for this pack

    • uhm - i guess you sorted out the answers... jic - no, im not familiar with the stories; yes, feel free to upload all released images... i guess i didnt realize that it (boic-1) had been released even...  :-)

right now one of my phones is completely screwed - so i havent been doing dwl much... i guess i need to check-in and see what-it-is that yallre talking about... h.

    • It actually hasn't come out. I just decided to start preparing to see who will do what obce it does

    • gotcha - feel free... the phone i use to datamine is the one currently out-of-commission anyways... i will try to help-out with whatever/whenever - but will hold-off on uploading any images (when nec) till i see what youve done...  :-) hth, h.

  • Never mind...I think I've been seeing things (or not seeing things, as the case may be). I thought the portraits all had extra "bleed" under the top border since you've been working with templates, but it looks like that has always been there.

    • edit - omg - i just realized, my notes and section-titles make it look like im actually DO-ing something to the files... no-no-no... sorry... i just looking-for-filenames to get them put into my template-Head1 so that i can call-the-template easily...

egads - ill go change my section-titles if itd help... sorry about that... those were just notes-to-myself... sigh... lol...  :-)

ok/np... (??) ive noticed some of the head-shots look a little weird, but mostly im just trying to get-a-full-set of data (as you can tell)... maybe if/when i get done (btw - youre welcome to help if you want - its kinda tedious... lol), we could add the head-shots to the character-page so that folks can see the two-versions when they look for a character... idk...

i just sorta get on these obsessive-runs every once-in-awhile... for now, im just running thru the filenames - and then i will try and make-sure that all 216 (or whatever) are represented... im sure i will burn-out on this task and find something else fairly soon... thanx for putting-up with me... and basically, im trying to stay in my sandbox-area...  :-)

btw - i think (im not up to the letter-s yet) that susan foreman didnt get a head-shot; but if/when i get thru the set... [sarcasm?] ill just post some long-winded question about getting the last-few together[/s]... anyways - thanx for noticing, ill get back to it as i get back to it... 8-)

    • It may be that relatively few wiki editors have Susan Foreman, since she's exclusive to Google Play. I can't get her, for instance, because I play on iOS. We technically don't need a head-shot until she drops in-game.

    • @Felicityk: Not sure exactly what you wanted to revert, but you can basically revert any number of edits as long as they are the top commits on an article page: You can just start editing from the old version you want revert to. To do that the easiest way is to first click on the date link displaying the old version and there clicking the edit button. You will get an warning that any intermediate changes will be lost if you save that edit, but that is exactly what you want in a revert situation. ;-)

If there are useful commits on top of the ones you want to revert it isn't as easy. If the useful commit is smallish I would just revert all and do the new changes manually. If larger (or commits you want revert are intertwined with commits you don't want to revert) it probably needs done completely by hand (and with great care that you end in a stable version).

  • Since you have played the Premium Trickster Pack level, can you provide information on the allies that drop other than Trickster Peri? Either I or someone else can work on making pages for them with some basic information:

    Primary Color

    Secondary Color

    Power

    Cooldown

Attributes (if you have not leveled them up)

    • From the Miscellaneous Spoilers page comments:

      trickster-tenth-doctor 6 grn/grn (convert yel+blk to grn) (convert select to grn) 10

      trickster-sarah-jane-smith 51 red/grm (deal 27% damage enemy HP) 12

      trickster-peri 51 red/blk (reset all gems) 6

      trickster-zygon 51 blue/red (convert 2 random to another) 5

      trickster-saibra 51 yel/yel (incr 26% damage of random color) 6

      trickster-tardis 51 blk/grn (drop in 20 black after turn ends) 7

    • tyvm - i can add the hp-type stuff if you want also...  im just logging in - so will check other stuff/comments before replying further...  :-)

    • It would be very helpfull if you also added the hp / heal / atk / atk 2 and the power names as well. Tyvm

    • ok - looking thru other pages/comments (and having discovered the criticality of caps and punctuation and spacing today) i will note the following details:

Trickster The Tenth Doctor (Attributes Calculated By Team); 1 outfit; (no quotes) "Fortitude" byline; weird eyeball-like symbol...

Trickster Sarah Jane Smith (hp-1485,heal-359,atk-3072,atk2-921); 1 outfit; Sonic Lipstick; blue swirly box?

Trickster Peri (hp-2112,heal-1238,atk-1987,atk2-596); 1 outfit; Think fast; pink-green-sphere?

      Trickster Zygon (hp-3153,heal-691,atk-1852,atk2-555); 1 outfit; Body-print; black-circle-w-question-mark?

      Trickster Saibra (hp-2174,heal-628,atk-2560,atk2-256); 1 outfit; Hologram shell; question-mark w-2-inside?

Trickster TARDIS (hp-1546,heal-3021,atk-1355,atk2-406); 1 outfit; Dematerialize; blue mushroom-cloud?

i will check (later) if the other sub-pages were created and/or are named correctly...  basically, i did not create all the pages that first time because i was not sure i could (correctly) and/or i just got sidetracked with other life-stuff in the "real" world...  :-)

ps - these were all from my game at level-51 and 0% (ie - i havent used them yet in play)...  i dont know if (as we use the character) the percent affects the numbers somehow...  i just took a quick-look and saw a level-12 character which was at 64% (11th doc clone) and his values are hp-271,heal-21,atk-117 which i can use to answer my own question [maybe?](after i hit reply)...

edit - wellp - i apparently had heal-23, not 21 cuz values at level-11 had heal-22 (doh)...  i will go back and triple-check my notes above and then take a look at the pages that appear tove been already created...  so the answer is that YES the values change, but NO i cannot (yet) tell if they change due to level-only or by level and by percentage within level...  gah - so many details...  lol...
